Rule Of Thirds
I was familiar with the rule of thirds before this weeks assignment. I think that it is a easy way to get better pictures. In my two pictures I think that the second one is a lot stronger than the first one.

Different Lighting
For this assignment I decided to take an object and take pictures of it in three different settings. The first picture was taken inside without a flash. The only light in the whole room was from my window. I think that this picture came out the best out of all of them. The second one I obviously just brought outside because I figured it would be the complete opposite of the first picture. The last one I took inside under a lamp. This was my least favorite picture because I think the light makes the elephant look almost to shiny. I took all of these pictures in the same camera mode because I figured it would be the best way to really show the difference in lighting.

Comparing photos.
I know that there aren't a lot of different camera angles in my post this week but I decided to put these up because I think there is a lot I can learn from them. The first thing I want to point out is the sky in all of the photos. I wish I had changed the ISO to a lower format so that my camera wouldn't have taken in so much light. That is about the only thing that I can say I was not happy with in these picture.
Because of this I decided to compare two of the picture that really focused on the rust like color of the granite. I would like the top one more if the clouds did not look so messed up. I like the top picture because you get that great rustic color and you can really grasp the terrain that I was on when I took the picture.
The second picture I think is stronger because the sky is not as blurry and the granite really pops. The crane in the background is crisp and really stands out. When you compare both pictures I think the first one has the opportunity to be stronger but the sky really holds it back.
